SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

We believe that protecting our environment is vital for our employees and clients, our local communities, and the global community.

As immigration law firms have a reputation for generating tons of paper, we focus on operating as a sustainably as possible.

Here are some of ways in which we try to reduce our impact on the environment:

Public Transit. We encourage the use of mass transit, carpooling, biking, and other alternatives to driving. We offer subsidized public transit passes to employees.

Purchasing “Green.” Our purchasing decisions are made with sustainability in mind. Whenever possible, we purchase materials and office supplies that are recyclable, biodegradable, and/or are locally produced.

Waste Reduction. We try conserve paper by discouraging unnecessary printing and copying and communicating by email rather than paper. We are advocating for the government to allow for more electronic filings which would allow us to use much less paper.
